Serpent mission statement

”My work as a serpent healer gives me great satisfaction to know that I am helping so many people successfully to face their fears. It is my duty and my passion to present these magical and misunderstood creatures to those who have never had the pleasure of their presence. They are the stars of my world and I am very grateful and blessed to have such friends and teachers as my work allies.

I want people to see the beauty in these creatures and connect with their powerful healing energy. All the snakes I work with are my personal pets and they are all rescued from troubled or abusive previous homes.

I work in conjunction with ‘Snakey Sues Serpent Sanctuary ‘ to help re-home and rescue unwanted serpents. All our snakes earn their own keep by dancing with us and healing humanity of their fears. Their wages help to keep the sanctuary going thus proving how independent and self-sufficient they can be even when out of their natural environment.

The serpents of our Temple are fully independent entities in there own right! Supporting themselves and their carer to fulfil their divine role in a society still so scared of these harmless Gods ….My Mission is to assist and facilitate these beautiful creatures to bring their unique healing energy and ancient wisdom to the world through the technology of kundalini yoga.

SERPENTALITY

Snake Safety and Welfare

A few points to help you to understand Serpentality:

*Their hearing and sight is marginal so lights, cameras and loud music do not upset them.

*They sense vibrations and live generally in hot sweaty aquatic conditions so warm and exciting locations are a modern day jungle for them.

*For short periods of time they are happy to interact and share their ancient wisdom. They enjoy this 21st century jungle and love to bask in a forest full of cosy warm trees [as this is how they view us Humans} while enjoying a fantastic exploration of new tastes and senses with no predators!!

* They do indeed enjoy the company of humans as they have been domesticated from their isolated lifestyles and are actually quite happy to socialise with strangers so long as they can taste/smell their guardian kwali is close.

*They do not suffer fools gladly so it is always imperative to listen to the ‘do’s and don’t s’ by their carer before handling them.

*Sessions with the serpents will be no longer than an hour as after this the snakes will become tired and need to retreat back into their cosy homes.

*Kwali has worked with snakes for over a decade and holds a full licence and insurance to work with her pets in the public environment so is fully legal and entirely covered for any eventuality.

*If you are interested in facing your fear in a calm and yogic way then please check out the kumara section of this website for more details about one on one or group healings.
